Performances can be combined with dance lessons or cultural lectures and demonstrations,
a full tea and sweet service, henna parties, or with live music (minimum two weeks notice for live music). Additional fees will apply.

Hire a soloist
Beautiful costumes, entertaining dancing, finger cymbals, and wonderful music
that will have your guests clapping--and maybe even dancing--along!
Shows can be tailored to a variety of venues and occasions.
Monica has nearly two decades of experience as an entertainer...from staged theatrical performances to family weddings and commitment ceremonies,
from backyard barbecues to baby showers...and everything in between!

Getting married or planning a wedding or engagement party? Monica can offer a traditonal zeffa (procession)--complete with a shemadan/candelabra.
Brides and their wedding parties, family members and friends can also celebrate upcoming nuptials traditionally, with a pre-wedding social
dance class and performance.
Solo performance (including both choreography and audience participation if desired, about 25 minutes): $275
Solo performance *and* a fun, interactive belly dance lesson for your guests (about 45 minutes): $375
Weddings: $400
(Please note that when Monica is booked as the dancer for your wedding reception no other events are booked
that afternoon
or evening
to keep our brides and grooms stress free and not worrying about any unforseeable events that can cause slight delays.
This is why there is a slightly higher fee--there is no price for peace of mind on your wedding day!)
Note: All prices are for shows within San Francisco and the Peninsula north of SFO.
Additional travel fees may be applied for other parts of the Bay Area and California.

Hire a duet, trio, or troupe of dancers.
Two or more performers can entertain audiences of all sizes with choreographed
dances to everything from Arabic classical songs to modern
Egyptian pop. A wide variety of solo and group pieces are
possible when hiring a troupe!
Duet (choreographed numbers, solos, and audience participation, about 30 minutes): $600
