Monica is available to dance at weddings, parties, celebrations, and events in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
Early booking is strongly recommended, especially during the holidays and throughout the wedding season (March to July and early fall).
Please note that only performances open to the public are listed on the events page.
2012 Events
NOTE FROM MONICA: The early part of my 2012 dance work is focused on teaching great classes to my students at the Alonzo King Lines Dance Center
and to upping my own training level a bit
by taking lots of workshops and intensives myself.
Therefore, I don't have a lot of
public performances scheduled until the summer and fall of 2012. (If you have booked me for this winter, not to worry, I am still on for private events!)
I'll be sure to post other public events of interest here and on my facebook
page (keep up by liking it at the link) for folks who want to
see great dancing and hear great music!

Helene Eriksen's 2012-2013 Bay Area Anar Dana Project.
I will be participating in this long term dance project. Over the course of 14 months we will be learning, and ultimately performing,
seven traditional and folkloric women's dances from
North Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia: Moroccan Sheikat, Classical Arabic Style Sama'i, Hungarian Roma, Turkish Roman,
Armenian dance, Kurdish folk dance, and Afghani Lori.
There is still room for more participants to join the project.
